At Headstart we always strive for excellence in all we do. Headstart offers all the advantages, activities and so much more than most big nursery schools. We aim to use our finances wisely and are proud of an almost 27-year legacy in doing so – although it is incredibly challenging with running costs that went up significantly with five staff members and small classes.

We offer a nurturing, child centered approach with quality activities, focusing on developing each child holistically – spiritually, physically, cognitively, and emotionally. We also offer top class, well-researched stimulation, play based learning and open-ended play to spark imagination and creativity. A bilingual, parallel medium school that really gives them a sound foundation in both languages, small classes, a very loving, homely environment, and qualified staff with many expertise and more than fifty collective years of experience. We seek the Kingdom of God first as we do life together with Christian families.
We have a very unique edge with our onsite TAKE HEART Therapy Center and expert advice for teachers and parents.

We trust that you will agree that it is excellent value for money when it comes to your child’s precious pre-school years. With the tough financial times parents are facing, we have also prayerfully decided to keep the fees the same for the 3rd consecutive year and add no increase. We trust it will help.

Fees will remain the same throughout the year regardless of holiday times. Please remember that school fees are an annual fee, divided into twelve equal payments for the year. It is payable before or on the first of each new month.

Sponsorships – Blessed with a Headstart:

We do understand that for various reasons some families find it extremely challenging to pay the full school fee amount and therefore we have sponsorships available where we help families in need where possible. Every year we make a limited number of bursaries available to families in need.

These bursaries vary from 25% to 100%. Blessed with a Headstart is our way of giving back to the community and we have amazing testimonies of countless children being helped over the years to get a solid foundation, emotionally, Spiritually and Academically. If God is tucking at your heartstrings to donate any amount towards this fund, please let me know.

If you need to apply for a discount. Please email a motivation of your reasons by no later than the end of September please.

Please note that the 2/3-day option is only for the Seahorse (1-2 years), Clown fish class (2-3 years) and Penguins (3-4 years). Children in Grade R must attend a compulsory 5 days a week. All other children can choose between 4 or 5 days.

We do understand if you would like your little one home with you on certain mornings, but we unfortunately must ask that you pay for four days and then use your own discretion. Our budget does not allow us to pay the bond, utilities, teachers, cleaners, gardener, security, sundries and stationery, copies etc. and offer small classes if we do not instill this rule.

Please remember that this fee is an annual fee payable over eleven or twelve months.

• Daily specialized and thoroughly planned programme presented by teachers with many, many years’ experience of learning through play and guiding your child to school readiness and a head start. A good beginning never ends.
