What is Grade 000?
3 & 4 Years Old – Penguins
Grade 000 in South Africa is an educational term used to refer to a specific level of early childhood education. Grade 000 is considered 2 years before Grade R, the official first year of formal schooling in South Africa. Grade 000 is typically designed for children around three to four years old. It serves as a foundation for preschool education. The main aim of Grade 000 is to nurture young minds through joyful play, delightful songs, and exciting explorations. Imparting essential skills to the children while they engage in fun activities is at the core of Grade 000.
In Grade 000, the focus is on fostering children’s social interaction and developing social skills in a safe space whilst exploring their environment. At Headstart Pre-Primary, we believe that learning should be an enjoyable journey, and we are committed to creating a nurturing environment that stimulates growth and development in every child. Together, we’ll lay the foundation for a bright and promising future.
